Federal and state laws require that the Solano County consider the impacts of transportation improvements on the environment and obtain applicable environmental resource regulatory clearances and perform studies prior to project construction. Solano County is requesting professional services for environmental surveys, assessments, reporting, optional construction support, and compliance with environmental regulations for three federal projects under a single environmental on call contract (Federal Projects 5923(133), 5923(135), and 5923(136)).

General Work Description: Installation of solar powered light fixtures on metal poles at various locations throughout Solano County. Work also includes installation of concrete footings and object markers.

General work description: Solano County requires tree removal services within Solano County Right-Of-Way on an As-Directed-Basis. The County has identified over 60 trees and shrubs to be removed immediately. The remainder of the contract includes non-emergency on call work for a duration of two years. The work will include removal and disposal of the trees, stump grinding, and tree trimming.

General work description: Application of methacrylate deck treatment on various concrete bridge throughout Solano County.

General Work Description: Reconfigure the curve on Foothill Drive approximately 1,116' from the City of Vacaville limits. Construct a 32 feet wide roadway section of 2" of 1/2" HMA over 3" of 3/4" HMA over 12" of aggregate base. The work also includes: embankment construction, retaining wall, ditch excavation, concrete v-ditch, adjusting facilities to grade, signage and striping, and potential removal of hazardous waste.

Solano County is seeking professional services for environmental surveys, assessments, reporting, permitting, construction support, and compliance with environmental regulations. The work will include development of supplement reports, field surveys, and monitoring required to successfully complete the construction of Solano County’s Stevenson Bridge Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
